How do you feel about vaccines?
My opinion on vaccines is that we grossly over vaccinate dogs, cats, and horses. I feel that normal healthy adults do not need annual vaccines, but should be monitored through titers (or bloodwork) instead. All animals less than 1 year of age should have their full set of vaccines, starting at approximately 12 weeks of age & rabies at 6 months. After that, rabies is necessary by law, and all other vaccines should be tailored according to individual titers, the animal's state of health & risk of exposure to the various diseases.
